This state park is only 15 or so miles from Monument Rocks, so take advantage and see both! The park does have a $5 self pay fee. Also, you must walk at least 1/4 of a mile to get a good view of the park. You are not able to walk amongst the formation itself but just to an overlook point. Visited March 2020.You could spend about 30-45 minutes walking around them and reading their history (see my photos). Please note that you're on private land, so be respectful of the site. The gravel road is not bad, and it's not very crowded. Located a short distance off of I-70 or accessed from the South.
